About : The Rose of Sharon is a registered public charitable trust, founded by Pastor Saroja M. The main aims and objectives of the Trust is to undertake and carry out charitable, educational and socio economic programs for the welfare and betterment of people irrespective of caste, community and creed. The Trust has the authority to establish, conduct, manage, promote and maintain home for the aged, destitute, orphans or other weaker sections of the society. This center is equipped with all modern facilities and hygiene is well maintained. They already have residents in this center who have very well adjusted to the facility. Admission is open to old persons irrespective of caste or creed. Admission includes both free and paid facilites. Free admission will be decided only after verifying the status of the individual. About : Blind People’s Welfare Association was founded on 8th August 2007. Its office is situated at above address which is just 2 to 3 minutes walking distance from Mira Road Railway station. Giving free Computer Education and running Music Classes, providing free Tuition on part time basis to help visually impaired students in their School studies, rendering legal advice and guidance to all for their bright and independent future, conducting special and regular trainings to improve mobility in visually impaired people, arranging Eye test Camps and treatments by distributing spectacles along with minor surgical operations are some of their objectives.
